Stay Informed and Stay Alert

The Town of Whitestown provides an alert system that enables residents to sign up for free to receive timely and actionable alerts via email, text, or voice message.

The platform, Smart 911, is a free service that allows individuals to sign up for notifications on situations involving weather, traffic, public safety, and other emergencies.

Once an account is created, you can:

• Add your address to receive geo-targeted alerts
• Indicate what types of alerts you want to receive including weather, traffic, emergency, and more.
• Indicate how you want to be notified by text, email, and/or voice message.

You can also download the Smart911 app from the App Store or Google Play.

Existing Smart911 users can simply log in to their account and opt-in to the Whitestown lists.
