Vision Zero
Vision Zero is an ambitious initiative focused on eliminating traffic fatalities and severe injuries. The Town Council of the Town of Whitestown has shown their support of this initiative by adopting a resolution committing to a goal to eliminate roadway fatalities and serious injuries by 2040 on the streets within the Town of Whitestown.
Town of Whitestown Safety Action Plan
Through the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Safe Streets for All (SS4A) program, the Town of Whitestown developed a Safety Action Plan to support the Town in planning roadway infrastructure improvements that will prevent severe injuries and fatalities, thereby saving lives. This action plan reflects our community’s needs with respect to road safety and recommends effective safety strategies to enhance safety for all road users.
