Movie Night
Movie Night in Whitestown is on Friday, September 6! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to watch Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch in the outfield at the Little League Central Region Complex. Grab your complimentary popcorn before the movie begins at dark (approx. 8:30 p.m.). The mischievous mascot Rowdie from the Indianapolis Indians will be in attendance.
Movie Night includes fun pre-movie activities for kids to enjoy. The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library bookmobile will be on site with a special craft activity. Come and make something fun to take home while exploring the bookmobile’s selection of books. Get active with our batting station and test your speed in the 40-yard dash.
If you would like to get involved and be a Sponsor, or Volunteer for this event, we would welcome your involvement.
The evening will be kicking off with a thrilling pre-movie activity! Kicking for a Cause is a friendly kickball game featuring the Whitestown Metropolitain Police Department and Whitestown Fire Department. Watch as local heroes from the police and fire departments battle it out on the field in a fun, family-friendly match.
Kicking for a Cause will help to raise funds for Witham Health Services Center of Hope Project. Representatives will be on-site to collect donations and provide a brief speech about the Center of Hope Project just before the game begins.
