Viking Fest
Whitestown’s 2026 Viking Fest will take place on April 24-26 at Anson Acres Park. There will be Viking-themed reenactors in full garb swinging their weapons, multiple Viking villages, stage entertainment, artisans selling crafted items, food, mead, inflatables, and more! Strong men and women can participate in the Keg Toss competition, while the strong young Vikings can participate in an Iron Skillet toss competition. Prizes will be awarded to each age group. Inflatables will close at dark on both Friday and Saturday evenings.
Ticket information:
Tickets are $7 each in advance or $10 each at the gate. Advance tickets can be purchased until 11:55 p.m. on Thursday, April 23. Children 2 and under are free. Each purchased ticket is good for any single event date. If you would like to attend on two different days, you will need to purchase two separate tickets.
Upon entry, each patron will be given a wristband that is valid for that day only. These wristbands will allow patrons to freely enter and exit the festival each day and be used for reentry if closed for severe weather. Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. All purchased tickets will be valid for a rescheduled event date. In the unlikely event the festival is canceled completely for 2026, all tickets will then be refunded immediately, in full. We are a rain-or-shine event, but we do evacuate for severe weather.
Presale tickets (bought before 11:55 p.m. on Thursday, April 23) are $7 each. Price increases to $10 each for the duration of the weekend. CHILDREN 2 AND UNDER ARE FREE! Each purchased ticket is good for any SINGLE event date. (Must purchase 1 unique ticket per date). So, if you would like to attend on 2 different days, you would need to purchase 2 separate tickets.
Purchase tickets online in advance to reserve your spot and ensure easy entry into the event. Tickets can also be purchased on-site only with a card. Tickets for 2026 are not on sale yet. Please check our website and Facebook page for updates on when they become available.

Is there camping on-site available?
No, but there are several hotels in the Whitestown area. Check out the list of hotels.
What if it rains?
We are a rain-or-shine event, but we do evacuate for severe weather. If we close for severe weather and reopen, your wristband will be used for re-entry.
Do vendors still accept cash?
Many vendors do accept cash. However, entry tickets are card ONLY.
Can I buy tickets at the gate?
Yes! ONLY cards are accepted at the gate.
