Sports - Open Play

Indoor Program

Come participate in open play at the Whitestown Municipal Complex Gym! We offer a variety of sports, including volleyball, pickleball, futsal, and more. There’s a sport for everyone to enjoy!

All participants are required to sign a waiver. All minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult. Please fill out the waiver at the programming table when arriving.

Sports – Open Play

Open Badminton

Get together with other badminton enthusiasts for open play! Please bring your racket and birdies to participate.

Date: Fridays
Time: 5-8 p.m.

Open Basketball

Whether you’re shooting hoops or playing a game, Open Basketball is a great way to stay active and have fun! You must be 18 or older to participate. Please bring your own basketball to participate.

*Please note: When Basketball League is happening, Open Basketball will not be held.

Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Open Futsal

Futsal is a fast-paced indoor version of soccer, played with a smaller ball and on a hard court. It is typically played between two teams of five players each, including a goalkeeper. The game emphasizes skill, quick thinking, and ball control, with a smaller playing area that encourages rapid play and quick transitions. Futsal balls are provided.

Open Pickleball

Come play pickleball with fellow enthusiasts! Limited pickleball paddles and balls are provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own.

Date/Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Open Volleyball

Join us for a fun game of volleyball at open play! Volleyballs are provided.

Home School Open Gym

Home School Open Gym has it all, whether they love basketball, futsal, pickleball, or just running around with friends! It’s a chance to let loose without the pressure of schoolwork. Plus, it’s a great way to socialize and stay active while having a blast! Limited to 20 spots daily.

This open gym session is meant for home school students only (K-12)

Date: Mondays and Wednesdays
Time: 11a.m.-12:30 p.m.
