Basketball League

The Whitestown Basketball Adult League invites individuals 18 years and older to participate by creating teams that play on Wednesday evenings. There will be 3 games held at the Whitestown Municipal Complex each Wednesday night (from September 4 – October 16)

• Date: Wednesdays (September 4 – October 16)
• Time: 6-9 p.m.
• Location: Whitestown Municipal Gym (6210 Veterans Drive, Whitestown, IN)
• Cost: $250 per team – (Invoice is sent to the team captain’s email)
• Team Names and Uniforms: Teams come up with team names and provide their own uniforms. (Must be approved by Whitestown Parks & Recreation staff)

League Format:

• Teams: 6 teams maximum
• Roster: Minium of 4 players and maximum of 10 players per team
• Game Format: Full-court, 5-on-5 games
• Game Duration: Two 20-minute halves, 5-minute half-time break, with running clock until the last 2 minutes of the second half
• Officials: Certified referees for fair play
• Season Duration: 6 weeks, every Wednesday 6-9 p.m. (including playoffs)
• Playoffs: Seeding (1-6) will be based on the leagues regular season record. Playoff games will all be played on week 6
• Prizes: A trophy for the champions at the end of the season
