Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners

Regular meetings 1st Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners constitutes the safety board of the Town for purposes of the suspension, demotion, or dismissal of any member of the Department. The Board may make general and specific rules for the government and discipline of the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department and may make special and general orders to the Department through the Chief of Police, who is the executive head of the Department. The function and powers of the Town of Whitestown Board of Metropolitan Police Commissioners (WBMPC) are governed by Indiana Code 36-8-9-1.

The Commission meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. unless publicly noticed otherwise.
