Citizen Heroism AwardWhitestown Fire Department

This award is presented to any member of the public that demonstrates acts of heroism, courage, sacrifice, or valor in deed or service to the community or an individual. This award will be issued at the direction of the Chief of the Department upon recommendation and review by the administration.

This award has been issued once, on December 19, 2020, to Cody and Brittney Hartman for their heroic actions to rescue a resident from a house fire.
