Whitestown Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Entry-level Firefighter/EMT.

All applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old but not older than 35 years at time of appointment
  • Have graduated from high school or have attained a GED or equivalent
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Hold a valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) card

No experience is necessary as WFD will offer a full recruit academy.

The Candidate Physical Ability Test is the standard physical ability test for fire department applicants. The test costs $150.00 and can be taken a several locations in Indiana. A valid CPAT card will have to be presented at the time of a conditional offer of employment.

The hiring process will consist of a written test, board interview, and Chief’s interview.
