Town of Whitestown announces holiday events

Nov 29, 2021 | News, Parks & Recreation Department, Whitestown Fire Department

The Town of Whitestown is kicking off the holiday season with a variety of fun, family-friendly events.

The seasonal events line-up includes:

Letters to Santa
Stop by the Whitestown Municipal Complex and drop off a letter to Santa in his mailbox. A self-addressed, stamped envelope must be included if you’d like a response. Letters dropped off after December 11 aren’t guaranteed to receive a response. This activity is for Whitestown residents only.

Grinch
The Grinch will be making his way around town the week of December 6, leading up to Santa’s Workshop and Parade on December 11. Residents are asked to be on the lookout for the Grinch and snap a photo when they see him (if it’s safe to do so), then post it on social media and tag the Town of Whitestown.

Santa’s Workshop
Santa will be making a stop in the gymnasium of the Whitestown Municipal Complex on Saturday, December 11 from 1-5 p.m. Children will get a chance to visit him and Mrs. Claus, while receiving a souvenir photo to take home. They can also enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and a candy buffet. Santa will be bringing a couple of his best reindeer along! This free event is presented by Trader’s Point Christian Schools.

Santa Cruise
The 2021 Santa Cruise kicks off at the Municipal Complex at 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 11. Santa will climb aboard a fire truck and travel through the neighborhoods of Whitestown. To view the map and track Santa’s location that night, visit wfdfire.org/santacruise.
