Town of Whitestown closes town facilities

Mar 12, 2020 | News

Out of an abundance of caution concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Town of Whitestown is closing town facilities beginning March 12, 2020 at 5 p.m. This includes the following:

• The Municipal Complex (located at 6210 Veterans Drive)
• All facility rentals and public meetings in the gymnasium and Town Hall
• Public restrooms at all Whitestown public parks

Essential work will still continue. These restrictions will remain in effect until at least April 6.

“We are in constant communication with our local and state officials regarding this developing situation,” said Whitestown Town Council President Clinton Bohm. “The health and safety of our staff and residents is of utmost importance, so we felt this precautionary step was necessary.”

Residents seeking to make utility payments are advised to use the drop box located outside the Municipal Complex or make a payment online.
