Whitestown, IN [October 15, 2025] – Get ready for a spooktacular evening of fun! The Town of Whitestown invites families to join us for our annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail on Saturday, October 25, at Anson Acres Park. This free, family-friendly event provides a safe and festive environment for trick-or-treating and more.
All ages are encouraged to come in costumes and enjoy a variety of Halloween-themed activities, including:
- A walk along our decorated spooky trail
- Trick-or-treating with local businesses for candy and other fun giveaways
- A hayride (additional cost, free for children 14 and under)
- Pumpkin painting (additional cost, while supplies last)
- S’mores roasting over a bonfire (while supplies last)
- Eat from a local food truck
“The Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail has become a cherished fall tradition in Whitestown,” stated Town Manager Katie Barr. “We love to continue offering a safe, festive, and fun event for residents of all ages.”
We are proud to introduce a Sensory Hour from 3–4 p.m., designed for children and families who benefit from a calmer, sensory-friendly environment. During this hour, flashing lights, loud sounds, and animatronics will be turned off to create a more comfortable atmosphere. This portion of the event is free, but pre-registration is required.
“We’re especially excited to offer Sensory Hour for the first time this year,” said Assistant Town Manager/Director of Parks, Dominic Cornett. “It’s important to us that all families feel welcome and included in our events, and this hour provides a calmer environment for those with sensory sensitivities.”
