Whitestown Fire Department Announces 2025 Operation Toy Drive

Whitestown, IN [November 14, 2025] – The Whitestown Fire Department is inviting the community to join in spreading holiday cheer through its Operation Toy Drive, running from November 14 through December 14. New this year, the department invites the community to join in spreading holiday cheer by donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children supported by Sylvia’s Child Advocacy Center.

Your generous donations help bring comfort, joy, and distraction to children as they participate in forensic interviews and receive vital services at Sylvia’s.

How to Help

  • Purchase and donate toys under $50 for toddlers through pre-teens
  • Gift cards from Meijer, Walmart, or Amazon are also welcome

Additional Details

  • Please avoid noisy toys
  • If toys require batteries, consider including extras
  • High-demand items: fidget toys, reusable puzzles, coloring books, and art supplies
  • Gifts should be new and unwrapped
