
Easter Egg Hunt
Join Whitestown Parks and Recreation for our annual Easter Egg Hunt, on Saturday, April 19 at Main Street Park from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. There will be community sponsors, a coffee vendor, and a DIY bird feeder craft (available while supplies last)!
If you would like to get involved and be a Sponsor, Vendor or Volunteer for this event, we would welcome your involvement.
- 10:30 a.m. – ages 0-3

10:45 a.m. – Inclusive Egg Hunt
- 10:50 a.m. – ages 4-7
- 11:10 a.m. – ages 8+
Children should bring their own baskets to collect eggs. The Easter Bunny will also be available to take photos at this free event.
There is limited parking available at Main Street Park. We encourage local participants to utilize alternative transportation methods like biking, walking, or carpooling. As a reminder, there are “no parking” signs on sections of Indigo Blue Blvd. Please observe all posted signage, use caution in the area, and pay extra attention to pedestrian traffic.

What time does the egg hunt start?
- 10:30 a.m. – ages 0-3 on the basketball courts
- 10:45 a.m. – Inclusive Egg Hunt on the tennis court
- 10:50 a.m. – ages 4-7 on the hill behind the playground
- 11:10 a.m. – ages 8+ on the hill behind the splash pad
What do I need to bring?
Children should bring their own basket to collect the eggs.
How long does the Easter Egg Hunt last?
The event is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with each hunt lasting about 5 minutes.
What happens if my child misses the egg hunt?
All eggs are typically picked up within 5 minutes. For this reason, please plan to be in place on time. There will be additional activities around the park after the hunt.
What other activities will be a available besides the hunt?
There will be yard games, community sponsors, a coffee truck, and the Easter Bunny will be available to take pictures.

There is limited parking available at Main Street Park. We encourage local participants to utilize alternative transportation methods like biking, walking, or carpooling.
What is in the eggs?
Each egg contains either 1 small toy or 1 piece of candy. The contents of the eggs are based on the ages of each group. There are no high-valued prizes.
Who can participate in the egg hunt?
Our egg hunts are designed for ages 0-3, 4-7, 8 & up, and children with different abilities up to age 14. Adults are permitted in the 0-3 Hunt, Inclusive Egg Hunt, and the designated area of the 4-7 Hunt to assist their child.

What time does the egg hunt start?
- Check-in for the Inclusive Egg Hunt will begin at 10 a.m. at the tennis courts. The gates will open at 10:45 a.m.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to show your RecDesk registration receipt at check-in to receive your entry ticket. Children should bring their own basket to collect the eggs.
How long is the Easter Egg Hunt going to last?
What happens if my child misses the egg hunt?
The Inclusive Egg Hunt area will be open from 10:45-11:45 a.m. with the hunt beginning at 10:45 a.m. Eggs are typically collected in under 10 minutes. For this reason, we encourage participants to arrive before the hunt begins. There will be additional activities after the hunt.

What is in the eggs?
Each egg contains either 1 small toy or 1 piece of candy including mini-pop its, playdoh, Dum-Dum suckers, Hershey chocolate, and Motts fruit snacks.
Who can participate in the egg hunt?
The Inclusive Egg Hunt is designed for children with different abilities up to age 14. In addition to parents/guardians, we allow up to 1 additional child to assist their friend participating in the Inclusive Egg Hunt. We ask that any child not registered in the Inclusive Egg Hunt only collect eggs from their specified age group’s hunt. Any assisting child is welcome to enjoy the sensory bins along with their friend!
