Planting for Tomorrow
On Earth Day, we’re inviting you to help us enhance the beauty of Whitestown by planting trees with us! We will be planting trees on the newer section of the Big 4 Trail (off of 575 East behind Fire Station 271) at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 22.
If you would like to get involved and Volunteer for this event, please fill out our volunteer form and mention Earth Day in the comments.
Everyone is welcome to participate! You will be assisting the Whitestown Parks Maintenance Team plant oak trees, which are non-invasive to the existing ecosystem. Please bring any shovels, gloves, and other supplies to assist in planting the trees.
Parking is available at Penn Central Substation (Duke lot), 2714 South 575 East in Whitestown.
