May 1, 2021 | Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department

The Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department is pleased to announce that the “Bike With A Cop” program will be kicking off this summer after being delayed last year due to Covid-19. This program is put on by WMPD’s Bike Patrol, and creates an opportunity for our officers to interact and build relationships with the community youth in a fun and educational environment.

“Bike With A Cop 2021” will occur throughout the entire summer (weather pending), every other Saturday starting on May 29th, at 10:00 am at Panther Park located in Whitestown’s Legacy Core. Participants MUST wear a helmet to take part in the event. Each “Bike With A Cop” ride with take place in a different neighborhood/area of Whitestown to allow all the kids within the community an opportunity to participate. However, please know that if you have to miss the event in your neighborhood/area, you can always jump in on one of the other rides!

We will be promoting each ride on our social media pages, so please follow us and the Town of Whitestown to know when we will be hosting in near you!!
