Whitestown, IN [June 12, 2024] – Get ready to pedal into fun as the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department’s Bike Patrol announces the return of Bike with a Cop. This program promotes positive relationships between law enforcement and the community’s youth while offering an engaging and educational experience.
Every Bike with a Cop ride takes place in a different neighborhood or area of Whitestown, ensuring all children within the community have the opportunity to participate.
Bike with a Cop Dates & Locations:
- June 15: 10 a.m. – Gateway Park (6150 Gateway E. Drive)
- June 29: 10 a.m. – Main Street Park (4286 S. Main Street)
- July 13: 10 a.m. – Big 4 Trail Head (104 S. Main Street)
- July 27: 10 a.m. – Fundae’s Ice Cream & Sweets (7165 Whitestown Parkway)
- August 10: 10 a.m. – Eagle Nest/Westwood Landing (6231 Eagles Nest Blvd. at the Pool Clubhouse)
All riders must wear helmets to participate in the event, and officers will be on hand to guide safe cycling practices throughout the ride.
