Whitestown, IN – [May 1, 2025] – Whitestown and Zionsville are calling on residents to bring their town spirit as they go head-to-head in a friendly competition at Town Showdown! This community event will take place on Friday, May 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Panther Park, located at 300 S Buck St in Whitestown.
Both towns will host community bike rides to the event:
- Whitestown riders: Meet at Main Street Park (4286 S. Main St.) at 6 p.m. to bike together to Panther Park.

Upon arrival, guests should check in at their town’s designated tent to be counted toward the final attendance tally. “This is a great opportunity to celebrate both towns while building community connections,” said Whitestown Town Manager Katie Barr. “Whether you’re from Whitestown or Zionsville, we want everyone to come out, have fun, and enjoy the evening together.”
Town Showdown will be packed with fun for all ages. Attendees will enjoy live music from local band Worlds Apart, along with interactive yard games. Refreshing beverages from LA Café and a variety of delicious options from local food trucks will be available for purchase.
“A little bit of friendly competition with our neighbors in Whitestown is always a good thing,” said Zionsville Mayor John Stehr. “The Big 4 connects us – literally and figuratively. Fun events like this strengthen those bonds.”
