Whitestown, IN [July 2, 2024] – Whitestown announces the opening of Jackson Run Park, a vibrant addition to the community. The new park is at 2816 Grassy Branch Lane in Whitestown’s Jackson Run Community.
“We are excited to introduce Jackson Run Park to the Whitestown community,” said Town Manager Katie Barr. “It offers a space where families and friends can come to play, learn, and spend time together.”
The Jackson Run Park spans 22 acres and features an array of amenities. The park encourages adventure with climbing structures, variety of slides, and swings. It sparks imagination and creativity with interactive musical instruments and a large play truck climber.
It also includes an open greenspace and a walking trail in the shape of a horseshoe for visitors and the community to enjoy.
“The Park embodies our vision of creating inclusive and engaging spaces that cater to the recreational needs of our community,” said Whitestown Parks and Recreation Director Dominic Cornett.
Jackson Run Park aims to be more than just a playground; it’s a place where memories are made, and community bonds strengthen. Whether it’s a weekend outing with family, a gathering of friends, or a peaceful moment with nature, Jackson Run Park welcomes everyone to explore, play, and connect.
