Amenities Coming to WhitestownThe Town of Whitestown is moving forward with plans to create a new park on the site of the former Wrecks Inc. automobile junkyard along Indianapolis Road. Over the past few years, the Town has worked to address environmental concerns at the property, and in late 2022, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) issued a Certificate of Completion for the site.
Park Details
The new 12-14 acre park will offer a variety of amenities based on feedback gathered from the community through engagement events. Below is a rendering of the upcoming park at the Wrecks Property. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2025, with the park expected to open by late 2025 or early 2026.
