Whitestown, IN [November 19, 2025] – The Town of Whitestown is excited to announce a full schedule of holiday events to bring joy to residents of all ages. From letters to Santa and searching for the Grinch to the return of the beloved Santa Parade, families will find plenty of opportunities to make lasting holiday memories.
Letters to Santa
Whitestown kids are invited to drop off letters to Santa from November 28 through December 14 in Santa’s mailbox at the Whitestown Municipal Complex (6210 Veterans Drive) or at Santa’s Workshop.
To receive a response and holiday prizes (while supplies last), each letter must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
Merry at Main
Kick off the season at Merry at Main on Friday, November 29, from 5–7 p.m. at Main Street Park. The event will feature tasty food and beverages available for purchase, an opportunity to visit Santa in his workshop, and the official lighting of Main Street Park at 7 p.m.
The Grinch Hunt
Be on the lookout! The mischievous Grinch is expected to be roaming around Whitestown from December 1–5. Residents are encouraged to snap a photo, only if it’s safe to do so, and share it on social media, tagging both the Town of Whitestown and Whitestown Parks and Recreation.
Santa’s Workshop
Visit Santa’s Workshop at Main Street Park each Saturday after Thanksgiving for rotating holiday guests, including Santa himself!

Santa Parade
The Whitestown Fire Department’s annual Santa Parade returns on Saturday, December 6, at 6 p.m., beginning at the Whitestown Municipal Complex. Santa will ride aboard a fire truck and parade through Whitestown neighborhoods. Residents are encouraged to gather along the route to cheer on Santa and welcome the holiday season.
Winter Market
Experience Whitestown’s Winter Market at the Whitestown Municipal Complex! This monthly indoor market, held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., invites residents and visitors to shop from a variety of local vendors offering handmade crafts, baked goods, farm products, and more. Each market will also feature live music, creating a warm and festive atmosphere throughout the winter season.
