Whitestown plans outdoor, family-friendly trick-or-treat event

Oct 20, 2020 | News, Parks & Recreation Department

Whitestown Parks and Recreation has made plans for a fun, safe, familyfriendly trick-or-treating event on October 24 from 4-8 p.m.

The Trick-or-Treat Trail is a free, open-house style event where local businesses and organizations will be safely spaced out around Anson Acres Park (4671 Anson Blvd, Whitestown, IN 46075) passing out candy.

Families will begin at the parking lot and make a loop around (one-way traffic flow). At the split into the woods, families will be able to continue on or go into the “spooky” trail.

Pumpkins will be available for purchase. Free parking is offered at the corner of E 450 S and Anson Blvd.

Safety measures are being implemented to keep attendees safe.

“We encourage families to practice social distancing by staying at least six feet from other people who are not from their household,” said Whitestown Parks Director Savannah Solgere. “Wearing a mask is also encouraged and hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the event.”
