Whitestown, IN [April 1, 2024] – The Giles Park Master Plan includes a system-wide assessment and evaluation of our existing parks and recreational facilities in conjunction with the development of a comprehensive plan that identifies current and future needs as related to parks and recreation facilities.

The Giles plan will establish a prioritized framework for future development or redevelopment of this site. This will coincide with the Town’s 5-year parks and recreation Master Plan, which was completed in 2023. This plan was put together by the community, and the parks department is looking to finish implementation within the 5-year period. This Plan is a resource to develop policies and guidelines related to location, use, resource allocation, and level of service that will provide direction to Town staff and the Town Council.

Giles Park Property (where the red barn is located) is across the street from Main Street Park (4286 S. Main St. Whitestown, IN 46075).

Residents are encouraged to provide feedback on what they’d like at the Giles property. The Whitestown Parks and Recreation Department has held three in-person meetings. Residents now have the opportunity to attend the pop-up events and complete the online Giles Park Survey. The survey is open from Monday, April 1 – Friday, April 12.
