The Whitestown Fire Department provides free car seat inspections to any resident in the Whitestown area. Recent research has shown the as many as 80% of car seats in use in Indiana today are either the wrong fit or not properly installed. The department has trained technicians that are available to inspect and assist with installations upon appointment. Car seat inspections are also offered at community events throughout the year. Our goal is to keep every child as safe as possible.
