Director of Public Works

The Director of Public Works is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the town’s public works department, including planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the department to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of public services. Collaborate closely with engineers and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsible for managing and supervising staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to manage various tasks. Ensure that stakeholders are up to date with the progress of projects.

Planning Administrator

The Planning Administrator position performs and manages complex and sensitive professional planning projects, research and analysis. This position also acts as staff for the Whitestown Plan Commission, and Board of Zoning Appeals. The Planning Administrator is vital to building relations between citizens, developers, the business community, and town staff. This position will perform administrative and technical duties in support of maintaining the health and safety of the residents, and protect the appearance and value of our homes, businesses, and town.
