National Night Out

The Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department is hosting a National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, August 2 from 5-8 p.m. at Eagle Church.

National Night Out is a free, annual event that promotes police-community partnerships and provides an opportunity to bring police and residents together under positive circumstances.

Come interact with public safety officers, see the Lifeline helicopter, enter to win prizes, enjoy food trucks, and more! There will also be a “Cover A Truck” fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics Indiana.

Here’s what to expect:

• 5 p.m. – Event begins
• 5:30 p.m. – Demo
• 6:30 p.m. – Demo
• 7 p.m. – Lifeline takes off
• 7:30 p.m. – Demo
• 7:45 p.m. – Water balloon fight
• 8 p.m. – Event ends
