A New Holiday Event Headlines a Full Day of Fun in Whitestown

Merry at Main – December 9, (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.)

Whitestown, IN – December 9 – The Town of Whitestown is thrilled to announce its newest holiday event, Merry at Main, taking place on December 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Main Street Park. (4286 S Main St, Whitestown, IN 46075) This free, family-friendly event promises an unforgettable day filled with the holiday spirit, local vendors, live entertainment, and a visit from the Grinch himself.

Visitors can browse a holiday market featuring handcrafted items, baked goods, and unique gifts from local artisans. The festive atmosphere will be enhanced by live performances from Bach 2 Rock and the Snow Sisters, captivating audiences with their musical talents and enchanting presence.

Children will be delighted to meet real reindeer from the North Pole and have their picture taken with the Snow Sisters. And don’t be surprised if you run into the Grinch, who might be lurking around the park, adding a touch of mischievous fun to the festivities.

Event Schedule:

11 a.m. Market opens
11:30 – 11:45 a.m. Snow Sisters performance (Main Shelter)
11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Snow Sisters meet-and-greet (Shelter B)
12 – 1 p.m. Bach 2 Rock performance (Main Shelter)
1 – 3 p.m. Reindeer meet-and-greet (Shelter C)
2 p.m. (approximately) The Grinch will create havoc and be arrested by WMPD
3 p.m. Market closes

Santa Parade – December 9, (6 p.m.)

Whitestown, IN – December 9 – The Town of Whitestown is thrilled to announce that the 2023 Santa Parade will take place on Saturday, December 9, at 6 p.m. With flashing lights and booming sirens, the parade will kick off at the Whitestown Municipal Complex (6210 Veterans Dr, Whitestown, IN 46075) and travel through the neighborhoods.

This year’s parade route has been carefully designed to allow for the growth of the community and to keep the parade within a reasonable timeframe. Residents from each neighborhood are encouraged to congregate along the route to cheer on Santa and his festive entourage.
