On the evening of Saturday July 13th, Whitestown Metropolitan Police Officers were involved with a vehicle pursuit that resulted in a vehicle collision.
In the early morning hours of July 2, 2019, the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department responded to a possible hostage situation in the Legacy Core of Whitestown.
On July 2nd, 2019 at approximately 3:00 am, Boone County Dispatch notified Whitestown Metropolitan Police Officers of a possible hostage situation in the historic district of Whitestown.
On Saturday, March 16, 2019 at approximately 6:42 PM, Boone County Sheriff’s Criminal Interdiction Unit came into contact with a Mr. Tyren Barnes (24) as a result of a traffic stop.
On 3/2/2019, at approximately 11:30 pm, WMPD officers were dispatched to observe for a wrong way driver, driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 65.
On 1/22/2019, officers with the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the Love’s Truck Stop to investigate possible narcotics use in the parking lot.
