Whitestown Municipal Utilities has lifted a precautionary boil water advisory for all customers that receive drinking water from Whitestown Utilities.
A boil water advisory was issued on February 18 due to a water main break in one of the transmission water mains. This precautionary measure is required by state law since the water pressure dropped below 20 PSI.
Bacteriological samples have been collected and tested. The test results were satisfactory and it is no longer necessary to boil the water.
